We are currently seeking a talented and driven Customer Success Manager for the German market to join our team at Smartvatten!
As a CSM, your mission is to help customers implement our service and technology and advise them on water efficiency. You ensure the customer gets full benefit out of the service. At Smartvatten, you will collaborate with all teams. We are working very closely with all departments across the globe.

Key Responsibilities Of a Customer Success Manager
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with German-speaking customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Onboarding & Training: Guide new clients through the onboarding process and provide ongoing training to maximize product usage.
- Account Monitoring: Regularly assess customer accounts to identify needs and present tailored solutions to meet them.
- Feedback Loop: Gather and communicate customer feedback to internal teams for continual product improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and support teams to ensure a cohesive customer experience, with the potential to be involved in upselling our solution.
- Efficient Data Maintenance and Administration
We expect you to have
- Around 2 years of experience in customer-facing roles (customer success, service, and/or sales)
- Native German Speaker with professional working proficiency in English
- Swedish as an additional language skill is seen as an advantage
- Ability to proactively identify customers' issues & needs
- Strong time management skills, flexibility and adaptability
- Understanding for German business culture
- Hands-on mentality, commitment and willingness to learn new things
- a collaborative mindset and enjoy working across departments (sales, deployment, tech team, support & finance)
