We are now looking for an HR Specialist to join our team in Espoo, Finland.

What this role is about:

As an HR Specialist, you will take on the role of a true HR Generalist, working across various areas of HR, from onboarding to compensation and employee wellbeing.

We’re looking for someone with a few years of HR experience who’s eager to grow and make a real impact in a dynamic environment.

This role is based in Espoo, and we’d expect to see you at the office at least 2-3 days week.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

Onboarding and offboarding: Welcoming new hires, making sure they have all the info before they start and introducing them to HR. Ensuring that everything runs smoothly also when employees leave us.

Payroll and Benefits: Coordinating the payroll process and benefits internally and with our external vendors. Updating vacation balances, handling holiday pay and absences. 

Contract Management: Managing employment contracts and work certificates.

HR Administration: Managing our HR system (Personio) making sure that our data is accurate, and tracking ESG (environmental, social, governance) data.

Health and Safety: Managing occupational health matters and the Health & Safety register and handling related invoices.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• B.Sc in Human resources or relevant field
• + 5 years of work experience
• Previous experience from HR Specialist role
• Knowledge and interest for HRM tools and HR systems. We have Personio in use, so previous experience is a plus
• Fluent English and Finnish
  
• Knowledge on Finnish employment law
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) 
• Experience from working in an international environment
• Proactive attitude and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
