About the Role: Financial Controller
As our Financial Controller, you will play a vital part in ensuring smart and efficient financial management for our fast-growing international company. You will be the keay player driving the optimization and continuous improvement of our finance and business processes. This role combines an eye for detail in traditional financial control with technical curiosity and the ambition to develop scalable systems. You will collaborate with finance, operations, and IT teams across locations, reporting to the Head of Financial Accounting
Key Responsibilities: Financial Control
- Lead the day-to-day financial controlling activities for our Finnish operations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and KPIs, ensuring compliance with Finnish accounting standards and group policies.
- Manage and improve financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking, and cost analysis.
- Perform regular internal controls, reconciliations, and process monitoring to ensure financial data accuracy and integrity.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and authorities to ensure timely and compliant filing of statutory requirements.
- Support ongoing process automation and digitalization projects related to finance and business operations.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams to ensure systems and reporting evolve to support business needs and best practices.
- Fixed assets process owner.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in financial controlling, accounting, or audit roles.
- Hands-on experience as a system owner or key user with an ERP/financial system (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.
- Proactive problem-solver mindset; enjoy supporting users and finding ways to improve systems and processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both in Finnish and English.
- Ability to operate independently and as part of an interdisciplinary, international team.
- Good project management and organizational skills.

- This position is based in Finland (preferably Helsinki region).
- We offer a flexible working model—hybrid remote/office arrangements can be discussed.
